Why we're walking: It is my second year as Development Manager with the Parkinson Alliance and Parkinson Unity Walk. I am honored to contribute professionally to such a worthy cause. My friends and family help me make an even bigger impact by fundraising for the Unity Walk! 100% of donations go directly to research!

Who I'm walking for: Over 1 million people in the United States have Parkinson's. 60,000 people are newly diagnosed every year - one person, every nine minutes. Walking and raising funds and awareness for research is my chance to help.

Why I'm supporting the Parkinson's Unity Walk: The Parkinson's Unity Walk is the largest grassroots event in the U.S., raising funds and awareness for research. In 28 years, the Walk has raised over $28 million in support of research funded by the four major US Parkinson's organizations: American Parkinson Disease Association, Michael J. Foxx Foundation, Parkinson Alliance, and the Parkinson's Foundation.
