As you may know, I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2018. I have a tremor in my right arm that comes and goes along with other less noticeable symptoms. I have been fortunate so far to not have my symptoms progress.

To put it simply, Parkinson’s Disease is caused by a dopamine deficiency, which causes slowness of movement. 

Parkinson’s Disease is the second most common age-related neurodegenerative disease after Alzheimer’s. An estimated 7 to 10 million people around the world have it. The number of people that have the disease in their 40’s is 41 per 100,000 going up to 1,900 per 100,000 among those that are 80 or older.

There is no cure for Parkinson’s Disease.

But, with your help, we can raise awareness and money to help find a cure.

For the first time in two years, there will be a walk in Central Park in NYC on Saturday, April 23rd. If you are free, please join Priti and me by registering for the 2022 Parkinson's Unity Walk and letting us know.
