THIS IS A GREAT CHARITY and I've donated to it for many years. It would be great if you donated, too -- especially because I'll turn 70 on the day of the walk and my birthday wish is that everybody act more justly, be more merciful and humble, and bring more goodness into the world. Amazingly enough, right before you on this very screen is a chance to help heal the world by helping people who may be disabled, homebound, in pain and stressed out.

As Robert Frost wrote in his poem Birches,

Earth’s the right place for love:
I don’t know where it's likely to go better.

A housekeeping matter: Marilyn and I are not going to the Unity Walk. Instead, Lisa -- a member of Team Dopamine and our roving goodwill ambassador -- will be there all the way from Lower Manhattan.

I'm participating in honor of my grandmother, Anna Miller Kaplan of New Rochelle, NY. She died in 1969 and our logo features what was her Parkinson's rocking chair. The logo is posted at our team page.
