The 28th Annual Parkinson’s Unity Walk Raised Over $850,000 - Introducing The Top 20 Teams!

Kingston, N.J., June 16, 2022 - The Parkinson Alliance is pleased to announce that the 28th Parkinson’s Unity Walk held on Saturday, April 23, 2022, raised over $850,000. These funds support critical research, including the development of new therapies and the search for a cure. One hundred percent of donations raised fund research supported by four major U.S. Parkinson’s disease organizations.

We would like to extend a heartfelt ‘THANK YOU!’ to everyone who participated in the 2022 Parkinson’s Unity Walk, virtually and in person, back together in Central Park for the first time since 2019. Our sincerest gratitude to this year’s Top 20 Teams, who together raised an incredible $360,015! Their commitment to raising funds in support of research made a true and lasting impact. It was wonderful to welcome them and so many other teams and walkers back to Central Park this year!

The 2022 Top 20 Teams are: Papa's Rockin' NJ Walkers, Rock Steady Boxing Eastern Island, Team Big Daddy Kane, Team Amneal, Strikeclubs, Joe Team: Return of the Joe, NYIT Smither's Center x Friedberg JCC, Team Kathy, Margie's Movement, Larry's Legion 2, Montana Don/Marylin Leslie's Team, Suchoff/Handwerker, Ginnie's Gang, Tremble Clefs Arizona, drowning PD, Team Move It Move It, Brooklyn Parkinson Group and Friends, Randy's Team, Team Mopsy, and Sal's Pals.
