We are so thankful that you are walking together with us! Every donation you raise goes to Parkinson's disease research. Once you are registered for this year’s event, we encourage you to leverage your social networks and use the Unity Walk’s fundraising tools to reach your fundraising goal—faster and easier!

Your Participant Center

Your Participant Center is where you can manage your fundraising efforts. It is not only your home base but also a dashboard where you can activate all fundraising tools and your social networks.

All the fundraising tools can be accessed by logging in to your Participant Center. The tools all link back to your Participant Center and personal online donation webpage. 

Facebook Fundraiser Integration with Your Participant Center

Before you connect your Participant Center with Facebook Fundraiser, please read this important guide.

Facebook offers a Fundraisers tool which lets supporters set up online fundraisers, to raise money for nonprofits like the Parkinson’s Unity Walk on Facebook. When you create a Facebook Fundraiser FROM your Participant Center, your Facebook donations will sync to your Participant Center. In addition to your Participant Center page, you will have a fundraising page on Facebook where you can share your story and raise funds for the Unity Walk on Facebook.

Create a Facebook Fundraiser FROM your Participant Center and reach your fundraising goal for the Unity Walk faster. Reach your Facebook friends, and they can donate to your Unity Walk efforts on Facebook. Your fundraising efforts on Facebook sync on to your Participant Center.

Share with Friends

Spread the word with your friends and family on Facebook that you are walking for the Parkinson’s Unity Walk. Rally everyone around your fundraising goal in support of Parkinson’s disease research!

Get Donations for Parkinson's Disease Research

Reach new donors! Your family and friends can easily support your Unity Walk fundraiser without leaving Facebook. One hundred percent of donations go to research. The Facebook Fundraising function is not yet available to international donors.

To get started, log in to your Participant Center and follow prompts about Facebook Fundraiser.

The Unity Walk Mobile App

Fundraise effortlessly while on the go via the Unity Walk mobile app!

The Unity Walk mobile app has been updated for this year’s Unity Walk with new features and is available for iPhone and Android devices.

Download our mobile app today! Search for the Unity Walk’s mobile app on the App Store or on Google Play.

Our app lets you manage and share your Unity Walk fundraising efforts and keep current on Walk news—while you’re on the go! Use the app to:

  • Personalize your participant page
  • Connect with family and friends through social media
  • Send emails and text
  • Track your fundraising progress
  • Thank your supporters


Social Tab in Your Participant Center

We encourage you to go social! Start fundraising
by clicking on the “Social” tab in your Participant Center!

From your Participant Center, navigate to the “Social” tab. From the Social tab, you can connect your social, mobile, and email channels to reach more donors and raise more funds for Parkinson’s disease research!

  • Send messages asking for donations—using Facebook, email, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Schedule messages for your Twitter and LinkedIn networks—weekly or counting down the days until Walk Day
  • Send thank you messages—it’s as easy as selecting the donor and then the social channel
  • Install email badge
  • Set preferences such as social networks you want to connect; activate web notifications

Email Badge/Signature

Log in to your Participant Center, click on the
Social tab and install your email badge.

Download your Unity Walk branded email signature and make every email count! Show your connection to the Parkinson’s Unity Walk and keep everyone in the loop about your fundraising progress in your email signature.

Set up our Unity Walk email signature to promote your fundraising efforts. The signature includes a graphic that automatically updates with your Participant Center’s fundraising progress and links back to your participant webpage!
