Poem by Maryum "May May" Ali read at the April 26, 2008 Parkinson's Unity Walk

Dopamine Dreams
Parkinsonians here are surviving with style
Despite tremors and shakes, you’re walking 2 miles
Supportive doctors, family and friends
In a fight to knock out PD for a victorious end
But until then, hold your head up high
Expand your knowledge to improve quality of life
You may be slower, have rigidity, or a masked face
But never forget that your spirit is great!
So keep positive thoughts to wash away any blues
Believe that one day your dopamine dreams will come true
