Team Parkin-sons and Daughters hosts Party for Parkinson's

Team Parkin-sons and Daughters hosted their first-ever Party for Parkinson's fundraising event on Sunday, November 18 at the Sports Club/LA in New York City. Party for Parkinson's was a children's indoor carnival that featured a full musical band, arts & crafts, face painters, balloon artists, clowns from The Big Apple Circus, a rock wall, and much more. Party for Parkinson's was about families coming together to raise awareness and the much needed funds to continue the important research that is needed to find a cure for Parkinson’s disease.

Team Parkin-sons-and-daughters has been participating in the Unity Walk for eight years and has been a top fundraising team for the past four years. Last year, the team raised over $31,000, and since it started in 2005, the team raised over $100,000! Formed by children with parents living with Parkinson’s disease, the team has had as many as 85 members and continues to welcome new ones.
