Pub Party for Parkinson
Worcester- With two bands (Golden Girls and Rick Booth), masses of prizes and great food, the Potter family turned up the volume on a good time for a great cause. On March 25th the Potters hosted a successful pub party at Breen’s Café in Worcester, and it all happened in support of the Parkinson’s Unity Walk.
This fundraiser rocked a local bar where multiple bands played in front of a full capacity house. But that's not all. To top things off, this year's fundraiser included a delicious catered meal, door prizes and a great silent auction. Items included sports memorabilia from the Celtics and Red Sox, free haircuts, and an awesome Miller Lite neon sign.
Money raised came from a cover at the door, selling raffle tickets and the silent auction. The venue, food and bands were all donated and people gladly paid for their drinks at a cash bar.
The sponsors, supporters and attendees are all owed a great thank you for helping us make a positive difference for those with Parkinson’s disease.
