Registration Now Open for 2013 Unity Walk
(July 17, 2012) We gather as a community for one day in Central Park to raise funds for Parkinson’s research and show our support for one another but the fundraising goes on all year long.
Registration for the 2013 Unity Walk is now open. It is our 19th year and there are plenty of reasons to register now:
- Start your planning early.
- Matching gift donations continue to arrive on a regular basis. If you want the matching gifts that you requested last year to be allocated to your fundraising efforts for 2013, you need to be registered as a walker.
- Plan a fundraising event throughout the year. No need to wait until the spring. What about a softball tournament over the summer, a local walk or hike in the fall, or a holiday bake sale? The possibilities are endless. Check our fundraising page for other ideas.
- Demonstrate your commitment to raising funds for research by registering early and get your team on board.
The 19th Parkinson’s Unity Walk will be held on a Saturday in April 2013. We will receive confirmation from the Parks Department before the end of the year. Please check back.
