First Ever World Parkinson Coalition Scientific Update
This update will be offered ONLINE only and will be FREE. Over the one year anniversary week of the WPC 2013, WPC will offer SIX lively and engaging panel talks delivered over three days right to your computer.
Each talk will be delivered via live webcast and archived for later use.
Tuesday, September 30 - Thursday October 2, 2014
Two unique and totally different sessions will be presented each day, at 12 PM ET/ 9 AM PT and at 2 PM ET/ 11 AM PT.
Talks will be given in a crosstalk format similar to the morning plenary sessions delivered at each World Parkinson Congress. Speakers will be engaging and intellectually challenging yet speak in an accessible manner to a broad audience.
WHY DO THIS?
Delegates at the WPC 2013 and past Congresses have repeatedly asked WPC to "do more" and so they are now offering this exciting online program to address the need for more frequent scientific updates. One year after the WPC 2013 and two years out from the WPC 2016, the progress in the world of science and Parkinson's is exciting, but it's not easy for everyone in the community to access it. This is their way of helping to change that.
ONLINE only. Start organizing your viewing parties now! You will be able to watch this from the comfort of your home or office via live webcast during the week of the program and afterward, via archived sessions 24 hours, 7 days a week from the WPC website.
HOW TO REGISTER?
Registration is FREE and will open in late July 2014.
A range of health professionals will be able to collect continuing education credits for
watching the live talks and even the taped talks will offer education credits up through
October 31, 2014. After that date, the opportunities to collect FREE CME/CEU will end.
