Poem by Maryum "May May" Ali read at the April 28, 2007 Parkinson's Unity Walk
Walk in Unity
As the dopamine waves good-bye/the tremors say Hello
Limbs stiffin up/as rigid muscles grow.
But despite all of this/today you made it here
To Walk in Unity/on a quest to find a cure.
Parkinsonians and loved ones – keep hope and faith alive.
We must be courageous – Never give up and strive.
