Martin Tuchman, Chairman — Chairman and CEO of Interpool

Martin Tuchman is a well-respected entrepreneur and founder of Interpool, a leading international cargo container leasing company. He became involved with Parkinson's organizations after his wife Margaret was diagnosed with the disease more than 20 years ago. Frustration with the lack of effective treatments led him to identify closely with the Walk's dedication to funding research. He joined the Walk in 1997 and became chairman in 2000. In the search for a cure, he believes that it is due to the joint efforts of groups and individuals, both on a public and private level, that "we can now see a cure, as they say, right around the corner."
