June 2004
Maybe its spring fever, or post-Walk syndrome, or overexposure to TV news. Maybe its symptoms of PD, or just plain laziness. Whatever it is, Im having a hard time concentrating and tackling the chores on my to do list, which only seems to grow longer no matter how much I work on it.
So Ive decided to put the old list aside and make a new list. Here it is:
1. Practice laughing - its good for your spirit as well as your facial muscles.
2. Spend some time remembering the joyful moments of your life. Look at photographs.
3. Make a list of friends youve been out of touch with for a while. Call at least one of them each day, and if possible, make plans to get together.
4. Listen to some of your favorite music.
5. Get a manicure/pedicure.
6. Exercise!
Im hoping that after a week or so on this new regimen Ill be able to confront my old list with renewed energy.
Wish me luck.
