Margot Zobel, the Founder and Director of the Parkinson's Unity Walk will share Parkinson's related news and insights on a periodic basis.
February 2005
Are you getting psyched? Making plans? Counting the days? I hope so, because the 11th Annual Parkinson's Unity Walk is just about two months away, and you know how time flies. (Turn around and one year is gone, a couple more turns and ten years have passed.) Those of you who were at last year's Walk are sure to remember what a glorious day it was, And those of you who weren't can expect a real treat.
As many of you know, the Walk is much more than a walk. It is a meeting-place for friends, a source of practical information about Parkinson's disease, an opportunity to speak to leading neurologists, a chance to see and hear "stars" who are involved in our cause, and a fun place for kids to spend the day. And oh yes, it's a fund-raising event to raise money for research.
Which reminds me, don't forget to collect your sponsorship pledges!
Love,
Margot
