TEAM ROSSI's Zumbathon 2013

The key word here is AGAIN – Team Rossi has found a winning formula with its Zumbathon and recreated last year’s event in support of the 2014 Unity Walk. Looks like this is now an annual tradition!

(January 13, 2014) - In 2012, TEAM ROSSI created a Zumbathon to raise money in support of our fundraising efforts on behalf of the 2013 Parkinson's Unity Walk. Since it was so successful, we decided to do it again to raise money for the 2014 Unity Walk. I went back to my pastor and asked him for use of the gym. Again, he granted my request and again, there was no fee for using the gym. My friend, Lynn Sullivan-Bowers, leapt on board again to be our instructor for the day. No fee for her either! Rich Carney, a family friend, helped out with getting professional grade sound equipment as well. Friends and family helped by reaching out to local businesses for support. The generosity of these businesses is just overwhelming. We raised over $1500 from the Zumbathon this year. Another success for TEAM ROSSI! If you dream it, you can do it! Don't be afraid! TEAM ROSSI is committed to never stop raising money and awareness for PD until there is a cure.
